Volunteering Time and Raising Awareness
Foundation Parent Ambassadors represent the UWCSEA Foundation within the UWCSEA community and their participation in giving to the College send a powerful message of commitment and investment in UWCSEA.
As a Foundation Parent Ambassador, there are three positive tasks to make a difference. Each of these is important in their own right and support for either or all of them are equally important.
• Advocacy of the Foundation; champion the case for giving to the College, through the Foundation.
• Increase awareness of the impact of giving to the College; keep up to date on projects supported by the Foundation especially those through the Annual Fund and use opportunities to raise awareness.
• Ask on behalf of the Foundation; invite members of the community to join you in making an annual contribution to the College, through the Foundation.
“Since our children joined in K1, we have been delighted with the all round education they are receiving. I think UWCSEA is an exceptional place to learn, to grow and to develop, and I wanted to give some of my time to say thank you, and to try to make it even better in the future. Become a Foundation Parent Ambassador was an obvious way to do that.”
