Green Gecko Project NGO cares for former street children by providing security, education, love and opportunities. Their community outreach programme provides medical support, training, employment and support to the children’s families. In addition to the 100+ children and their 32 families, they also have six ongoing social enterprises which vary, from creating hope and skills for vulnerable women to farming fresh and chemical free fruits and vegetables, or even to providing jobs and skills to women through weaving Re-Hash Trash Baskets.

The Green Gecko project creates opportunities for children, women and families.

At East Campus, the GC designs t-shirts with the NGO for printing in their social enterprise which are used at East Campus events. The support educational projects, materials and operating costs. The Gecko students particpate in the popular Gecko Night! talent show by watching online and judging the performances. NGO staff attend teacher training and leadership programmes through Training Teachers in Cambodia.

The Green Gecko Project has been supported by UWCSEA since 2010.
