Applying to UWCSEA
UWCSEA invites applications for the coming academic year, one year in advance and does not keep a rolling wait list. Applications generally open in September of the year prior to the commencement of the next academic year, but please contact Admissions if you are looking for earlier entry, or more information.
In most grades, the College adds an additional 22 places in August each year. All applicants who meet our entrance criteria are considered for one of these places, and for places made available by students leaving the College. If demand for places exceeds the number of students we can enrol, we determine how we allocate the available places to support our commitment to diversity, which is explained on our Q&A page.
UWCSEA follows the northern hemisphere academic year, with school running from mid-August to late June of the following year.
Commencing in 2018/2019 academic year
We are no longer accepting applications for this academic year as all grades K-12 are fully subscribed, and we currently have an application pool of candidates to fill 'leaver places' that may become available in K1 to Grade 8 during the course of the academic year. Our High School (Grades 9, 10 and 11) cannot admit students part-way through an academic year due to the structure of the courses.
Commencing in August 2019
